"Truth Is Incontrovertible"
Winston Church Hill once said, “The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” Religious Truth is found in God’s word and it can be found no where else. Jesus prayed, “sanctify them by your truth, your word is truth’ (John 17:17). It is the truth that will set us free from sin. “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “if you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples. and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32).
Some believe that if they reject the truth or if they remain ignorant from the truth then it ceases to be true. The word of God does not change whether we believe it or not. Peter wrote, “All flesh is as grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of Lord remains forever” (1 Peter 1:24-25). The unchangeable word of God will be the standard by which we are going to be judged in the end. Paul spoke of the day when God will judge the secrets of men according to my gospel (Rom.2:16). You may choose to attack or ridicule the truth of the Lord, but in the end, there it is and you will be judged by it.
